About Ashen's Open Book

What is this book?

Ashen's Open Book is styled after අශේන්ගේ කැරි වැඩපොත (“Social Media කැරි වැඩ කරන රහස් 100”), Ashen's Creator Workbook. Open the cover, turn the pages, and read what other people have written. Every page is written by a visitor. The book's prompt is “Ashen ඔයාට කරපු කැරි වැඩේ ලියන්න”: tell the story of something Ashen did to you, good or bad.

How it works

• Write a page: tap a blank page or the feather button, write your page and, if you like, your name. You can stay anonymous.
• React and share: react to any page with Like, Love, Care, Haha, Wow or Angry. No sign-in is needed. Share a page as an image to WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.
• Find your place: the book remembers the page you were reading. Use the page slider to jump anywhere.
• Read everything: every published page is also listed on the messages page.

Keeping the book readable

To keep spam and abuse out:

• new pages are checked automatically for spam;
• Google reCAPTCHA checks that the writer is a real person;
• an AI reviewer reads each page in context.

Pages that are inappropriate, or that say very little (like “hi” or “test”), are held for a person to review before they appear. The best pages may be shown first. See the Terms for what isn't allowed.

Advertising and support

The site shows advertisements to cover its costs, and businesses can advertise inside the book. You can also support the site with a donation through the “Donate now” banner. See the Privacy Policy for how ads and analytics work.
